Corte Madera:
 This
front yard makeover was a clean slate. The homeowners were ready to
embrace a drought tolerant, sustainable landscape. The plants, both
native and non-native, soften the front entry and the path which is a
mixture of stone and recycled concrete. Click

San Anselmo:
 This
ivy removal project in a small backyard was a big job. The end result
is low maintenance planting beds containing grasses and perennials.
Annuals are added for seasonal color. Ivy is a good example of an
invasive plant that should always be replaced. Click

Merritt College, Oakland:

The creation of this native bunchgrass meadow was a labor of love.
It was planted with grass plugs, a good alternative to seeding. It has
continued to evolve as it fills in. Wildflowers such as Douglas Iris
provide color and interest. Wildflower meadows are great lawn
replacements and make excellent habitat gardens.
